McConahy Mechanical was founded in 2009 by Chris McConahy. Chris was born in Pennsylvania and grew-up in the trades, ultimately becoming a Master HVAC, Plumber and Electrician. He worked for a large contractor in Pennsylvania for many years, and has been licensed in electrical, plumbing and HVAC, ever since.
After moving to Arizona, he founded McConahy Mechanical, focusing on residential and commercial HVAC. As an owner/operator, he loves working in the field with his team every day. He is known for having the most organized, and neatest truck you have ever seen – a sample of how he and his team will treat your home or place of business! Chris is also an avid outdoors-man, who shares the trails with Iris and Grace - his two Weimaraners.

Truly thankful. On 7-9-25 the valley hit 118° and my AC just couldn't handle it. I called McConahy Mechanical at the end of the day and was very fortunate to have Colton arrive within 45mins of my call. Colton explained everything he was going to inspect and in under an hour he had my unit up & running. Once he was finished he informed me it was just a bad capacitor, but he took the time to go over everything he inspected with me. It's nice to know there's still honest companies out there.
